The International Journal of Surgery is a peer-reviewed international journal which aims to promote continued developments in surgery by the publication of critically reviewed, carefully selected and contemporary knowledge about advances in clinical surgery, the surgical sciences and surgical education. The Journal aims to develop and uphold standards in research, provide a focus for evidence-based medicine and an opportunity for the critical appraisal of cutting-edge original research. The Journal is aimed at Surgeons (SHO to Consultant); Academic Surgeons and those working in Surgical Research (Fellows and Professors) from across the surgical specialties.
